  • We will cancel with a 40% chance of rain due to safety. You may reschedule for a later date. If delivery is made and starts to rain, full payment is non-refundable.

  • Make sure your contract is signed.
  • Balance paid in full before delivery.

Yard Pong Rules

TEAMS: YARD PONG is typically played with 1 or 2 person teams, 12 buckets and 2 balls.

GAME SET UP: Each team is to set up a triangle of 6 YARD PONG buckets opposite of one another.

  • Fifteen feet is the minimum distance between the two front YARD PONG buckets. The distance between sets of buckets can be determined by the age and skill of the players involved, available playing space, and/or depending on the wind conditions if outdoors.

    GAME STRATEGY: The object of the game is to either throw or bounce the ball into the other teams YARD PONG buckets and eliminate all of the opposing teams YARD PONG buckets. Players should be standing “behind” their last YARD PONG bucket while throwing or bouncing the ball. Each playing round the shooter gets two balls.

  • Throwing the ball - into a YARD PONG bucket eliminates that particular bucket and it shall be removed from the triangle. If a ball goes in then bounces out, it does not count and the YARD PONG bucket stays in place.
  • Bouncing the ball - into the YARD PONG bucket eliminates the bucket the ball went into and one other of the shooter’s choice.
    • Defense for bounce shots - On bounce shots, the opposing team may catch, swat, scissor-kick, head bunt or do anything else with their bodies to safely prevent the ball from going into the YARD PONG buckets after the shot hits the ground. This same defense may also be played if the shot bounces off the rim of the YARD PONG bucket. Careful, if it bounces in off of your defensive move, it COUNTS! **While playing defense, if you knock any of your own YARD PONG bucket/s over in the process, they are taken away just as if the other team had made a shot in them.

Shooting Rules: A team must shoot both YARD PONG balls before the other team shoots and each player on the team must take a turn.

Making both shots - If a team makes both of their shots, they get both of the YARD PONG balls back for another turn.

Knocked over bucket - If a YARD PONG bucket is knocked over by a shot, then the bucket is stood up, put back in its original position and is not taken away.

Final bucket - When a team's final YARD PONG bucket has been made, each player on that team will get a chance to shoot until he/she misses. If they succeed in making it in all of the opponents remaining buckets the game will go into a 3-bucket overtime round formation.

Winning the game - If the other team cannot force the game into overtime and all of their YARD PONG buckets have been eliminated, YOUR TEAM WINS!!!! THIS GAME IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED WITH ALCOHOL or by any children without adult supervision.
